Alaskan Cruise 2008 on Radiance of the Seas
![]() Our trip to Alaska in June/July 2008 was a cruise on the Radiance of the Seas. We flew to Anchorage from Seattle, then took an amazing train ride south to Seward to meet the ship. For anybody who does this cruise, the train ride is a must. Besides the amazing scenery and fun on the ship, we visited several ports in southern Alaska. In Juneau, we rafted down the Mendenhall river. In Skagway, we traveled up the White Pass and Yukon Route to the Canadian border and kayacked on a glacier lake. In Icy Strait Point, we went whale watching and saw lots of humpback whales (hard to photograph!). In Ketchikan, we went on a zipline adventure in the canopy of the rainforest. We cruised along the Canadian coast and ended in Vancouver. |

We all went to Paris for a couple days and visited the Louvre (which I loved), the Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame and saw the city. Finally, we took the high-speed train under the english channel to London and spent a couple days there touring the city. |

Caribbean Cruise 2003 on the Voyager of the Seas
![]() We got married on the ship! We were married in Miami in port on the top deck of the ship before it left port. This was agreat way to get married as we didn't have to worry about or plan much of anything -- just show up early to the dock. We hada reception on the ship and then left for the Caribbean. Weather in the first part of the cruise was bad, but we visited Jamaica, Grand Cayman (my favorite island in the Caribbean), and Cozumel where we visited the ruin at Tulum. |
